I diesagree entirly, for me the best parts of the whole star wars universe is the focusing in on obscure characters, looking at what parts they played and what they did afterwards and all about them. For one thing it fleshes out all of the star wars galaxy, and for another they have much stronger personalities as they do not have to fill a specific role in the plot.
