Anyone remember the old Captain America films?

There were two films in 1979 that were made for TV.
Captain America and Captain America II. Actually, they were edited versions of what was supposed to be a TV series that never happened. They were trying to cash in on the success of the Hulk but, CA totally lacked what made the Bill Bixby series so much fun.

Captain America (1990) was an awful Marvel Movie that was made when Marvel was trying to cash in on Batman's success (and their own TV success with the return of the Hulk to TV movies). Didn't work. The film was awful and only played in Australian theaters before ending up direct to video.

Oh well....maybe the big screen adaptation will be much better in 2007.
