The controller doesn't bother me so much. I've got so much hooked up to the TV in my bedroom that I have to use my PlayStation as a DVD player unfortunately though I know it's bad. I've never had any problems so far but I'm sure they're coming.
I should probably look into the remote though, it'd probably save my lazy self some effort.
