i got to see the movies just months after finishing with the book. i dont recall ever getting satisfied with the film versions; if at all, they only made me whine a lot. but now... more than a year after reading the books and having forgotten most of the details, i started to appreciate the film as it is, independent of the book.
i'd have to say that i liked the second one, the chamber of secrets, the most. the plot was okay, there was cohesion in the events. the spiders and the phoenix were also cool. (i also thought the actor who played tom riddle resembled ryan philippe.
