Not April Fools?!?
Good Lord. When I first saw this I checked my calendar to see if it was an April Fools Day joke!!
Nope..., not April 1st, so I did a quick lookup on IMDB to see if this movie was for real an yes it's the real deal.
I can't believe they are still making these Air Bud movies! My kids were huge fans of the first few (basketball, football, soccer) but lost interest as they got older and Airbud started running out of sports he could play. Never saw the baseball and volleyball Airbud's, but I was anxiously awaiting the golf and rollerball versions!
So it looks like they decided to go the puppy route when they ran out of new sports. I'm surprised they didn't get Airbud on water-skis; then he could have jumped a shark!
In any case, this is listed as Don Knott's last film before he passed away (may he rest in peace) so it's worth a viewing just for that. And I think my kids (now 15 and 17) would get a big kick out of seeing this; so sign me up for the contest please!
