Oh my god! My heart stopped when I read this. As I read it, "Xerxes' Tent" from the Tyler Bates' composed 300 soundtrack was building up. What an amazing coincidence. I absolutely loved the film 300. The film is still my #1 film of the year ahead of Waitress, Knocked Up, The Namesake and Zodiac. It was just too amazing. Amazing, amazing.
My favorite graphic novel would have to be Frank Miller's "Sin City," as an original source. As for an graphic novel adaptation though, "300" takes the cake. As Richard Roeper said, it is the 'Citizen Kane' of graphic novel adaptations.
I can't wait for the DVD release, hopefully I win it here as I'm short on cash.
