You didn't even answer his/her question. Anyhows...
It was a very good movie. My French teacher showed it to us during class and we thought it was very good. I guess it got labelled as "mainstream" because it just got well known and therefore everybody started watching it. Most of all, it had a very interesting storyline and unique characertisitics.
I personally enjoyed seeing this movie because I could not predict what was going to happen next. If you haven't seen it yet, you really should.
