The Prestige

I just got done reading 'The Prestige', and it was an amazing book.

from what i've heard about the movie, it's not half bad either, but is VERY different from the novel.

One of the things that's missing that's a very big part(and a VERY interesting chunk of the story) is the flashbacks from the modern day.

the book takes place in about the year 1995 and the 2 of the remaining desdendants of the 2 feuding magicians read thru the diaries of the 2 magicians. I won't give away anymore from there, but i find it very dissapointing that that isn't featured in the movie.

I would suggest reading the book.

I didn't know that.

May have to give it a read, that does sound awesome.

In the film, the magicians read one anothers diaries... for the most part.

i saw the movie last weekend.

It was VERY different from the book.

it added a few new ideas and reaaranged ones that were already there.

But i thought the movie was done well enough not to bother me about the differences in the book.

This movie is fabulous! A bit gruesome

but really good! Great performace of Christian Bale

i dont no abt the book, heck i cant evene read LOL
but all the same, the movie is absolutely amazing
especially with teh great cast
