The National Geographic Channel and the other learning channels are way cool!

Last night I watched a television series entitled Taboo:Extreme Childhood on the National Geographic Channel. Holy crap! There were kids from Thailand when they reach a certain age maybe 6-10 years old, they have to participate in Maui-Thai fighting for the sake of family honor and the families entire income which they bet on their own kids. The coming of age tradition is almost in the same style as the Spartan's coming of age, test of manhood. The learning channel shows are amazing I would rather watch these learning shows than some dull, pointless scripted reality show.
