Anyone hooked onthis show? I think its decent show but some of it might be fake (cause i dont know how they could survive on eating bugs) so does anyone think that this show might be fake?

The few episodes I've seen were all pretty bothersome. A lot of whining and scheming. Some interesting challenges, others are just stupid dares. But the whole "vote people off the island" has become a tired cliche'. I don't know that anything on the show is fake, it's just that the people always seem puffed up and trying to impress each other. So for me, it's the "real people" that come off sounding fake. I can't believe people devote so much time to watching other people do stuff.

This past show, I've been rooting for the tribes to use Shane for bait to catch a shark to eat. He's the weirdest, most unstable, psychotic, freakazoid ever to walk the planet. Besides that, he walks around like he's got a tree branch stuck up his butt. Mind you, I'd want to go to the final two with Shane, because NOBODY on the jury will want to give him the million.

watched the first two seasons then gave up, it's allthe same games and the silliness - the good people get tossed and the rats get rewarded!

my only consolation is that Richard Hatch is in jail for not declaring his winnings!

There was one...no, there were two, where good people got rewarded. Tom, the very cool fireman from NY won his round of Survivor, and although Rupert didn't win, he got awarded a million bucks by the fans voting in a special dealie. They were both very cool guys and I was glad to see them win. This time, I like Terry, but he's got such a huge target on his back, he's not gonna win. Beyond him, I just don't care, although Cirie seems to be the only one actually having any fun.

One way to find out for sure is to sign up to be on it.

Most of them seem to lose a helluva lot of weight, although Cirie seems to be doing quite well. Obviously, there are cameras there all the time, and I doubt they're automatic ones up a tree. It would be a bitch to watch the crew chowing down on real food while you're chewing bark off a tree.

I personally would like to join the survivor show. I love adventuring and going to secluded places where there is virtually no pathway for people. I would like also to test my social skills, how I could live with different people. But I guess the game is more on being sociable. Even if you are that good in the challenges, when the majority won't like you, you will be out of the game soon.

put some fat, regular dudes on there and see what happens... no gorgeous women, either!

People on reality shows are chosen specifically to create the drama that you see. I really don't like it. I've only ever seen one partial episode of survivor, and that was enough for me.

i like the first survivor but after that they all seemed so similar. It got to be a bit boring after a while I found.
