How I Met Your Mother

This is a really good show. I just started watching a few weeks ago but I'm hooked. Anyone else watch?

my hubby was a fan, but we sort of gave up when they revealed who he's NOT marrying in the future... no spoilers here!

very disappointing!

I like Alyson Hannigan a lot, but I found the show fairly boring. And the two leads completely bland and without personality.

I disagree. I've been watching the show since the pilot and like it because I think it's far better written than other sitcom options on tv today. It's new and witty. The conflicts are typically original and end with humor and softness. the relationships are somewhat realistic too. The friends do a great job of presenting their relationships as well, IMO.

I don't really see it disapointing knowing that he won't marry 'aunt Robin' or 'Aunt Lily' because it gives us a chance to make the show last a few more season!

Dustin you are so right, it is a new fresh look at modern sitcom, hopefully this show will change the way sitcom writers think. And if it is succesful, network presidents will sit up and notice how these fresher sitcoms are getting noticed! And we'll get more! Hopefully

I thought I found something a while back in "king of queens" and "two and a half men" but every episode of KOQ is about Doug and Carie lying to eachother, and every episode of TAAHM is about casual sex (although Charlie is funny as hell...) but I just got sick of it. HIMYM just offers a nice change of pace.
