CanMag Upgrading to Version 5.0

Here is a brief alert, and a reason on why CanMag has been slow on the updates recently, that I am currently working on the layout for CanMag v. 5.0 (yes, we are currently on version 4.x)

The new layout is coming along quicker than expected, which means I am even concentrating more time and effort into the update.

The layout looks sick and I hope our readers are happy with the improvements...

I figured I'd point out some benefits to 5.0 before I get questions emailed over.

1. Cooler looking site.
2. Fast page loads (5.0 has a page size approximately 70Kb less than 4.0). New cache should also speed things up.
3. 5.0 will feature a forums plugin, allowing the community to expand across the site.
4. MOST IMPORTANTLY: Version 5.0 will lower the number of times that 'annoying' pop-in ad will appear during your visit. The current settings are set at two times per visit per hour. We are going to be changing this to one time per visit per 8 hours. One pop-in ad is enough.

THere is other updates, I just can't think of them right now.
