Default Win a Copy of The Protector

Like watching Tony Jaa kick ass for extended sequences? Well, then this contest should be right up your alley.

In anticipation of the release of The Protector on January 16th, we have been given two (2) copies of the 2-Disc Ultimate Edition to give away.

In this relentless, fast paced action film spiced with Muay Thai moves, Kham’s (Tony Jaa) life is turned upside down when a notorious Asian gang steals his family’s prized elephants, which were to be offered as a token of devotion to His Majesty the King of Thailand, and smuggles them to Australia. Kham must travel to a foreign land to unravel a conspiracy that will reach into the highest levels of the Australian government. With the help of a disgraced Thai-born police detective, he must reclaim his beloved animals and stay true to his heritage against almost impossible odds.

DVD Special Features:
·Feature length commentary with Asian Film expert Bey Logan
·No Wires Attached: Making the Protector
·Making Tony Jaa Featurette
·The Director’s Guided Tour
·Tony Jaa Martial Arts Demonstration
·Making Tom Yum Goong
·Theatrical trailer

We have two (2) copies of the DVD give away. For a chance to win, make a post below with who would win in a fight: Tony Jaa or Jackie Chan. Both have similar stunts, but Jaa seems to kick a little bit more ass. Maybe because he is younger, or his head is smaller.

The winners will be announced Wednesday, January 12th.

Good Luck!

Default Contest Entry

Jackie Chan would win because he is older and with age comes wisdom.

Default Yo, at least you didn't ask if he could beat Rocky Balboa...

If I were a gambling man, I'd put my money on Tony Jaa, the young guy.

Default Tony Jaa

As much as I am a fan of Jackie Chan, Tony Jaa would win hands down. In a Times magazine interview back in 2004, he said that he watched Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, and Jet Li films and practiced their moves until he mastered them himself. In this way, he would be able to use the moves of three different people and know Jackie's moves before he was doing them. The cool thing about Jackie Chan is that he asked the director of Rush Hour 3 to include Tony Jaa since he is so impressed with his skill. But I would definitely pay to go to the movie theater to see a film with the two of them locked in combat. If Sylvester Stallone can have a fifth film where he's fighting a much younger opponent, why not Jackie Chan? I guess the only way to make it for Jackie to win would be for him to be teamed up with Jet Li as well.

Default Draw

Both will be in a draw, Tony Jaa's Muay Thai Also with his Krabi Krabong style is definitly a strong offensive and defensive style. But Jackie Chan is one of the great Martial Artists. He can mix up his style with Wushu, Drunken Boxing (Powerful). Chan has broken every bone in his body which shows his toughness to the extreme to his body. But Tony is also young and has deadly manuevers but Chan can backfire with his unbelievable fighting coordination. Also Chan has been a stuntman for Bruce Lee's Movie Enter The Dragon, which Chan impressed Bruce Lee for doin a stunt falling down a steep hill. So I say it would become a draw, both men on the ground beat up and exhausted!

Thumbs up Both and neither...

They would not fight each other. They admire and respect one another too much. So, they would both win because they would not fight, and they would both lose because they would not fight. They are both masters and students, unique in their own abilities, yet alike in their respective levels of talent. Both have honor as men and as martial artists. That's my take on it. Besides, I love them both!!!!!!

Default Tony Jaa vs. Jackie Chan?

It's kinda hard to say but I think that Tony Jaa could easily kick the crap out of Jackie Chan. Don't get me wrong, I love JC. I'm just being realistic.
