Default Win a Signed Blood and Chocolate Poster!

Mini-poster more like. In anticipation of the theatrical release of Blood and Chocolate on January 26th, we have been given the opportunity to give away two (2) signed mini-posters for the film (approximately 12x24 inches).

The posters are signed by Agnes Bruckner and Ehren Kruger.

For a chance to win, just say what your favorite werewolf/vampire/monster movie is and why.

Two winners will be announced on January 24th.

We do apologize, but this contest is only available of US residents.

Good Luck!

So far (not including Blood and Chocolate, of course), my favorite werewolf/vampire/monster movie would have to be a "classic", the 1931 filmYoung Frankenstein. It was far ahead of it's time, and no one had ever seen or heard of anything of the sort before. While this film may not be "scary" in today's sense, it is truly a masterpiece. Colin Clive screaming "It's Alive! It's Alive!" is the greatest moment in horror film history. Today's horror films just don't live up to the good name of those past. Let's hope Blood and Chocolate can, though; it might just give Frankenstein a run for it's money.

Default Classic Universal Monster Pics!

The classic Universal monsters of the 30's and 40's were the tops. One of my personal favorites was the Wolf Man. Lon Chaney Jr.'s portrayal of the Wolfman as a man tortured by the thought of what he becomes when the moon is full was great. And don't forget Maria Ouspenskaya as the old gypsy woman.

"Even a man who is pure in heart and says his prayers by night, may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and the autumn moon is bright."

Was it scary - well not really, but still a good flick.

I was also a fan of An American Werewolf in London; mostly because of the great use of music (Van Morrison's "Moondance", CCR's "Band Moon Rising", "Blue Moon")

Default fave movie

I would have to go with a few different ones as for vampires I really do enjoy the underworld series I feel it is underrated. But the best vampire still goes to interview with the vampire, for many people who didnt read the vampire chronicles it introduced them to a near perfect portrayal of Lestat played by tom cruise.

As for Werewolf I am goin with American werewolf in paris, not only did it have great humor mixed in with it but i have the memory of having my first kiss with my ex fiance to that movie and it was a good memory even though we broke up. so there ya go

Default Favorite childhood movie

Ahh...Teenwolf. Yes, I know...not the scary movie, but as a young teen when this came out. Awesome. The comedy and the tribulations that Michael J Fox's character went thrrough. I still dream of having the teenwolf mbile. Cruising around in (goofy) style. One that will be in my dvd collection fro my 3 year old twins once they get older.

Default Contest Entry

My favorite vampire film is Interview with the Vampire. But another monster film I've always loved is Night Breed.
