Catch and Release: Music from the Motion Pictures does justice to this bittersweet romantic comedy in a way that has already been compared to Garden State, whose every song was carefully woven into the storyline. Featuring ’90s and ’00s tracks by established bands (Gomez, Doves, Foo Fighters, The Lemonheads), major alternative darlings (The Magic Numbers, Joshua Radin, Death Cab For Cutie), under-the-radar indies (Blinker The Star, New Radiant Storm King, Audible, Peter MacLaggan, Alaska!) and more.
![]() The CD is available now. For a chance to win, give your favorite soundtrack, preferably compilation. We have one (1) copy of the CD to give away. Winner announced Sunday, February 4th. Good Luck! flabbybuns |

The Big Chill: This early 80's movie had some great music from the 60' and 70's. I pull this soundtrack CD from my shelf fairly often.

Would it be cheesy to say 'Grease'? I loved the music and how it fit in with the film. I actually think I enjoyed the soundtrack more than the film...
1. Grease - Frankie Valli 2. Summer Nights - John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John 3. Hopelessly Devoted To You - Olivia Newton-John 4. You're The One That I Want - John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John 5. Sandy - John Travolta 6. Beauty School Dropout - Frankie Avalon 7. Look At Me, I'm Sandra Dee - Stockard Channing 8. Greased Lightning - John Travolta 9. It's Raining On Prom Night - Cindy Bullens 10. Alone At The Drive-In Movie (Instrumental) - Jim Jacobs/Warren Casey 11. Blue Moon - Sha-Na-Na 12. Rock 'N' Roll Is Here To Stay - Sha-Na-Na 13. Those Magic Changes - Sha-Na-Na 14. Hound Dog - Sha-Na-Na 15. Born To Hand Jive - Sha-Na-Na 16. Tears On My Pillow - Sha-Na-Na 17. Mooning - Louis St. Louis & Cindy Bullens 18. Freddy My Love - Cindy Bullens 19. Rock 'N' Roll Party Queen - Louis St. Louis 20. There Are Worse Things I Could Do - Stockard Channing |

No way. This is an excellent pick. I still am turned into a drooling, lovestruck idiot everytime I hear Olivia sing "Hopelessly Devoted to You" However, it may be considered cheesy to watch the new reality series... |

Living life in the Danger Zone. An all time soundtrack that is great to throw in the cassette deck, cd player or Ipod. It always Takes My Breath Away.

Okay..an old movie, but the soundtrack with Los Lobos is great.
La Bamba. It's a pick me up soundtrack for a tragic movie. |

Not a well known soundtrack and no major hits, but the Medicine Man soundtrack is one that I have. It soothes my soul when I put it itn the cd player. The movie was great with Sean Connery, but the music gives it a double dose of goodness.

I love this soundtrack from one of Robin Williams greatest films. A wide variety of songs. I especially love the touching Satchmo. and the beach boy songs. This one cranks in my house all the time.
