i just saw the original War of the Worlds...it was really good for a 1953 movie!!!

A fantastic film (the 2005 one). It's full of terror and suspense and amazing sequences that make you go 'whoa'. Brilliance.
The original I didn't really like very much. Acting and script were pretty awful. Now the Jeff Wayne musical......sheer brilliance. Great songs, great score and a great cast, all wrapped in the mst incredible narration ever, by Richard Burton. Last edited by britcitchris : 09-02-2007 at 11:14 PM. |
