You can always rely on Pixar for something special at the cinema and Ratatouille is no exception. I had felt with Cars and Finding Nemo that the younger audience was the main market but with their new film, this had been addressed and there is something for everyone, here. This film is worth the entrance fee alone just for Peter O' Toole's voice acting. Truly gifted. The characters are brilliantly realized, the story has a big heart without being too sickly and once again the visuals are pushed even further. Also, there's a brilliant short in front of it called Lifted. Great stuff.

I watched this with family in an outdoor cinema on the lawns of Kings Park here in Perth, Western Australia, a week or so ago. We all enjoyed it. As far as entertainment goes, was a fantastic night out.

There are so many movies now about rats though. Gotta admit that while they are cute in animation, I wouldn't want to find them in the kitchen at a restaurant I was eating at . All a bit silly really .
