Wasn't this an HBO show? I really liked it and my daughter bought me the first season on DVD. I'd like to pick up the second season, but I haven't seen any of those episodes, so maybe it went downhill fast. Anybody know?

No, it remained really great but got cancelled early. Typical. All the good ones go.

It's an absolutely brilliant show. My friend got me addicted and now I just wish there was more to watch. It's so entertaining!

It lasted two full seasons, so it wasn't a blink-and-gone thing. The heroine was an 18 year old girl killed by a toilet seat falling from the defunct space station, and was picked to become a reaper. Mandy Patinkin was her "boss" who gave her the assignments of which souls to reap, and there were a motley group of other reapers. It was fun and different and I really enjoyed it.

A friend of mine owns season 1, and he made me sit down and watch it. Despite the title I was surprised when George died in the first eppisode. It was both hilarious and deep. It was an awesome show.
