Errors in 24

One thing i really love about 24 is that it tries to stay more or less realistic. But one thing i noticed was that when the terrorists were going to release the Vx nerve gas in the mall, they were wearing masks. Nerve gas isn't just absorbed through the lungs it is absorbed through the skin also. So a gas mask alone wouldn't provide any protection agianst it. Has anyone else picked up on any other little errors like this?

Ah, however the average terrorist may not know this, plus the mask may be all they could afford/get and would probably be enough

Maybe this type of Syntox nerve gas cannot be absorbed by the skin. I might be wrong, and I sure hope that the show is not wrong either. But this seems like a small detail, and I feel it is just like a small blip in the whole scheme of things.

if a terrorist spent countless resources just to be able to pull off an attack im sure they would be smart enough to know every aspect of their plan. and i know its just a small blip but i just like to nitpick some times lol

Maybe because they over planned they forgot the minor details, everyone thinks gas mask, but who is going to think gas coat when they could think : if we breai through here and disable the alarm etc.

I've noticed a few continuity errors here and there - but this is a really good one. I'd never have picked up on that!

sometimes CTU will go to satellite to track an individual or vehicle and will uncover a route. Sometimes they forget they ever had the technology.

errors:

Nuclear Football: Don't send two agents, send the army quick.
President Recording: Start by making a copy... idiots.
Cell Phones: S1 said cell phones not registered couldn't be used in CTU. Now everyone uses them.

CTU sends a team to find a lead but sends a single agent to pick up the target.

To pull errors out of 24 would be stupid to even TRY to start to do. Im sure there are hundreds, thousands even in just one episode. Its a fictional show. Very fictional.
