I had no idea Terminator was an indie. I didn't like Drugstore Cowboy, and can't wait for The Descent.

Most of my favorites aren't on the list. "Happiness" over "Welcome to the Dollhouse"? Oh no. I loved "Buffalo '66", "Lost in Translation" and "Donnie Darko" but those are all semi-mainstream indie films. There's no really obscure stuff.

Cube, Swingers, Evil Dead, Nosferatu, Eraserhead, and Memento are some of my favorite movies, but I definitely agree with the top 10 movies. Each of those are fantastic efforts which I own and watch quite frequently(especially NOTLD).

I have to still watch The Reservoir dogs. I have to see that one. The Terminator is another good one.

Grosse Point Blank totally rocked - it made me a Cusack fan, fer sure... and worth the rental if you've not seen it yet!

I have not seen Clerks, saw Chasing Amy though and didnt actually realise Smith was involved in that one. Fantastic movie though, it makes me want to check out his back catalogue.

i'd love to know what constitutes "indie". personally i don't think enough people out there have seen: 9 Dead Gay Guys, Tipping the Velvet, King of Hearts or any Anger pieces.

Mad Max was independent?
What exactly does that mean anyway? that they made it without financial backing?

Are they sure Terminator fits that list??
