Box Office Bout: Spider-Man 3 vs Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End

Two box office juggernauts are going to be forced to face off next month, May.

Which one do you think will have higher ticket sales?

Domestically? Internationally?

Well, I was wrong about last summer's Superman Returns vs X3. Who'd have thought that X3 would have beat the long awaited Superman movie here in the US.

I will see Spiderman more than Pirates, but I think Pirates has a broader appeal to the non-nerd types. So if I had to bet, I think Pirates will win out here in the US.....but not by much.

Spiderman will do twice the box office of Pirates. Spiderman 3 will probably break opening weekend box office records just like the first one did.

pirates of the caribbean 3 will DOMINATE!!! who cares if spider man 3 happened to break some records, pirates 3 will just beat those!!!

Spiderman 3 will probably beat out Pirates. We all waited 3 years for Spiderman 3, and Pirates 3 only took a year to come out. People are more excited about Spiderman!

I really liked the POTC3 & have not seen SPM3, but I will see it eventually.

thats exactly what both of these films are
on the other hand..fantastic four 2 and transformers are great movies to watch this summer!
