List your favorite composers and a film where others may have heard them.

Klaus Badelt: Equilibrium, re-used in Pirates of the Caribbean
Hans Zimmer: So many films, but Last Samurai, The Rock, Crimson Tide and Batman Begins.
James Horner: Aliens, Willow, Glory
John Williams: easy on, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Munich, Indiana Jones, Superman, Schindler's List

The best are Hans Zimmer and John Williams by far and to be honost I don't know many others. And the Indiana Jones soundtrack is the best

I like the Aliens soundtrack. That movie was so strong that many people forget the soundtrack but when you listen to it on its own its really powerful.

I think Horner is a legend.

My favorite piece is Waltz of the Flowers by Tchaikovsky. He's my favorite composer, because his pieces make me want to dance like a ballet dancer.

As for the others, My other favorite is Autumn by Vivaldi. I just like it...

How about you guys? Any classical music you listened to before and liked?

Hey, flabbybuns, you have almost exactly my favorite composers, too. Indeed, Klaus Badelt is the best. I love his work (King Arthur, POTC). Hans Zimmer is my second favorite. But from there on I'm not quite sure. James Horner I also like, but I'm uncertain as to what place he achieves on my list. I don't really like John William's battle/fast beat music that much, with the exception of Star Wars 3 (one of my favorite scores). Harry Gregson Williams has brought himself up with what is probably my new favorite soundtrack (the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe). Danny Elfman also does a good job.

I have always loved John Williams Music to all movies he is awesome. I like the man that use to do Miami Vice I forgot his name it was different.
