Default Star Wars Empire at War: Great Game- Long Play Time

I have been wasting hours playing Star Wars Empire at War because the game freakin' demands hours of play to accomplish the smallest of tasks.

If you want a game that is WORTH the money (in playing hours), then go purchase Empire at War.

Play one of the campaigns... either Alliance or Empire... and after you beat that be sure to move right on to Galactic Conquest. You have the freedom to do whatever you want and the game offers side missions to get you bonuses. The amount of time it takes to acquire one planet is about two hours... and the galaxies have up to 48 planets. Now, imagine that the planets are also being re-captured by your enemy and you can see why this game takes so dang long to win.

I haven't tried multiplayer yet (can you save multiplayer?) but am looking forward to it.

CanMag has a full Empire at War Review

The game is sweet.

Empire at war is a classic The multi-player is limited to smaller galactic maps, you can't do the full 40-odd planet conquest on it

I'm busy playing through the rebel campaign at the moment - shame Luke is only a rogue squandron unit, not a land one too.
