Default Oldies But Goodies

I don't play very many computer games. I'm a console girl myself. But way back when I did, I played this really old game called Betrayal in Antara that I liked a lot. I'm looking for something along the same lines. Any suggestions?

Never heard of it.
What console was that on? Sounds like an old Atari game or something!

I remember it well, I probably liked it as much as you did.

There was a prequel to it which was titled "Betrayal At Krondor", an old DOS game which has pretty much the same gameplay as Antara. Even with the dated graphics, the plot and gameplay got me absorbed.

I think there was a sequel to Antara, went off with something like "Return To Krondor"?

What I really loved about Antara was the spell creation system!

Yea, and King's Quest. I remember loving those. My brother got some strange DOS games... Sam and Max Hit the Road, Day of the Tenticle... I think there was an Indiana Jones one in there, too. Odd stuff, but fun.

I remember sticking to some very old games, like...

Exile, Exile II, Exile III (Spiderweb games)
Krush, Kill And Destroy
Death Rally (oh yeah, can't wait to play that again!)
S.C.A.R.A.B.

I've also played that game back in college, that game with almost arcade elements? I think it's called "Incoming".
