I miss the first version of Quake more than any of the predecessors... the dark theme and the nice sound effects took a lot more than better use of my time back then. For the love of the game, I even bought the Quake Level Editor for it (too bad it got unsupported in such a short time).

Quake 3 got a little too comic to play for me, though it was still fun, especially that railgun, my fave weapon!
