What did you think of the Duke Nukem games that have been released? Not as popular as the Doom and Quake series, but I still think it had some innovative elements, like freezing and shrinking, to bring to the FPS genre.

I think duke nukem was a decent game. The gameplay was fun and addictive. But it wasnt anything revolutionary like the quake and doom series was (due to their splendid graphics and other reasons).
It's a pity that the Duke Nukem Forever game is taking forever to be released.

I had a version of it up PC and ps1, and I enjoyed it immensely. No, it wasn't anything revolutionary. But, who cares? That was the game that got me hooked on other similar games.

not bad for it's time, but has got to update seriously if they want to keep current iwth the new gen of shooters!

Quite frankly, I wouldn't DISagree more... Duke Nukem is one of the most indecent games I've come by. With the lot of stripping women NPCs in the game (plus a cheat to make them reveal more), I don't think it's decent at all.

Of course, you meant decent as in "good", didn't you? :P I don't have any gropes about that.

But I never really liked the Duke Nukem series, too corny for me.

Well, every game has its own players. For me, I like this game. Even though its not as good as Doom or Quake or even my favorite Counter-Strike, I sure like to play this and want to finish its stages.
