Default Diablo 2

Who still plays Diablo 2? I still play it from time to time, I play it often enough that my characters do not expire

It really is an addicting game when you get into it, so much character skill choices and tons of equipment to keep you coming back for more.

Diablo 2 is pretty old school compared to all the recent shooters out. However, I remember the game being pretty fun and, at times, pretty scary to play.

*edit: my bad, thought we were discussing Doom 2.

I loved Diablo but avoided Diablo 2 to avoid more hours wasted with mouse in hand.

Yeah it can get scary lol.

You guys remember the stuff on there used to be worth so much? People would sell their stuff on ebay, for like 40 bucks and so. Really surprised me lol, I mean it's just a game?

Yeah, people are always going to sell items in any online game they play. There are always the ones with money to throw away buying virtual items for cash.

I don't play it any longer, all my characters that I've had are now expired. I still think it was one of the best RPG's of its time.

Wow, you actually got to 99? I always had the urge to start a new character when I got to around 80 or so, the exp gain is very slow at that point.

Battlenet became infested with hackers though. Every time I get some serious items in the last few years online, a hacker comes steals my cool armor.

I thought they cut down on hackers in diablo 2, I know there are some map hacks out there, but I don't know of anything that allows you to steal one's equipment.
