Default Final Fantasy series

Which game did you think was the best Final Fantasy out of them all? I kinda think that FF6 was the best one, it was very memorable for me with plenty of character development, and a non-linear second half.

I can't really say. I loved them all (well, maybe not ff8). I am a huge FF fan. I think I liked ff9 the most. The newest FF coming out this year is strictly a MMORPG. I'm sort of disappointed because I really liked the single player aspect of the game.

Wow. I totally haven't been able to get into the FF games. I think what really turned me off was watching my husband play FFX and, when he got to this one particular Really Big Boss, he was forced to watch and rewatch and rewatch this practically 10-minute-long cut-scene THAT YOU CAN'T SKIP.

When did video games turn into barely interactive movies?

Since they surged in popularity. They are competing with television, movies, computer games, the internet, blogging and a host of other things people could be doing other than playing a game. The big thing now, especially in RPG, is to make sure there is a good story line. Sometimes games go overboard when trying to pull the gamer into the story.

I played FF on the NES years ago and then left the series until FF X on the PS2. That game reminded me why the series is so great. I went back and played 7, 8, and 9 after. I still think my favorite is X, since it reintroduced me to the series.

FF XI licked, though. I can't wait for 12 and will probably buy a PS3 just to play 13 and beyond.

FF7 is my fave.
I like them all, but that one really sucked me in. I played it day and night, non stop pretty much.

Great series.

I've only played FF7 and FF8, and I have to say FF7 was the best of the two.

I only enjoyed FF8 a bit and quit it quick, didn't enjoy it as much as I did FF7.

Then again, I was playing both at the same time... maybe I just considered finishing FF7 and ignored FF8 all the way :P

I haven't played any PS game for many years already for I have switched to PC games. But I guess when I have the PS3, I will play games again in PS.

Anyway about the FF series, I like the series where Rinoa is there. I fell in love with an animated person. If there is a person who looks like her, I would surely try my luck in courting her.

I'm a total Final Fantasy addict. I really don't have a favorite, FF7 is really great- but most people I know are huge fans of that one.
I think my favorite is probably FFX. I love Lulu, she is my all time favorite FF character, her skills and her attitude totally impress me. She's great. That's probably my biggest reason for loving that one. And I love Yuna & her summoning powers.
