Default Kingdom Hearts 2

Anyone play Kingdom Hearts 2? I haven't played the first one, but I do like Square's RPG games. What is the gameplay like for Kingdom Hearts 2?

It looks super pretty, but I'm inherently suspicious of both halves of the Disney + Final Fantasy equation.

I read a really, really funny review of Kingdom Hearts... just a moment, trying to see if I can find it... darn it, darn it, darn it. I can't remember enough of it even to Google. More later after I check my older IM logs.

Has anyone here played it that could give us a more recent, first-hand review?

I haven't played the first or the second. I really want to,but never have the time for that kind of a game. It looks like something I would absolutely love, though.

Because of the Squaresoft meets Disney aspect? Because of the role playing game aspect? I'm just wondering--I'm still not entirely sure what kind of game it is.

I still can't find that review, not even when I google "Kingdom Hearts" "Best Review Ever". Maybe I need to mispell it stylishly. But I did find this! The great Penny Arcade debate! Sort of. It's sort of short-attention span, as far as debates go. But as with anything Penny Arcade, it makes milk come out my nose with much hilariousness.

My boss played it and say it super fantabulous (my words not his). I started to play the first on but the way the camera is set on that game gave me a headache and I never felt an overwhelming need to try again. I love FF games and so it is that aspect of it that attracts me. Disney...not so much.

KH 1 was surprisingly good, IMO. There is the usual FF darkness combined with Donald, Goofy, and the like. It doesn't seem like it would work (and what on earth were they smoking to come up with the idea in the first place?) yet somehow it does.

I just got KH 2 from gamefly. I'll report back after playing it.

Kingdom Hearts is my absolute favorite games. It mixes my deep love of Final Fantasy with my life long Disney obsession.

I was actually just playing KH2 before I got online. It's great, it really impressed me. The graphics are fantastic and the gameplay is smooth. There's tons of cut scenes like in the orginal that can get kind of annoying but the story line is fantastic. I highly recommend it!

KH brings out the kid in you. It's a lot of fun. It's like disney for everyone (even adults). They combined the popular Final Fantasy characters and Disney characters into one, they made a decent plot, awesome gameplay, and a lot of famous voices signed on for the games. It's just a really good game, so go buy it! :P
