Dragon Quest 8

Anyone a fan of the Dragon Quest series? I think that Dragon Quest 8 is a great RPG for the Playstation 2, and it is a very long game. I am about 30 hours into it, and don't think I'm past the halfway point yet.

thought about getting this but i have never played it before. i dont think id be patient enough to play for hours and hours unless it was REALLY good and i got into it a lot

It doesn't require you to play for hours at a time, there are plenty of ways to get back to town and save. It just is a really long game though overall, I think they are saying around 80 hours total.

Yeah I am currently playing it, but I am not sure how far I am into it. The world seems pretty large though, trying to explore for more treasure chests and monsters.
