PS3 in 2007?

I've heard rumors about the Playstation 3 will be delayed til next year? Do you think that this will be true? If so, will it hurt Sony's potential sales?

I also thought that this summer will be the released date for PS3.Too bad for us PS games will have to wait till next year I think.

I am not sure if that is a wise move by Sony, I really wish that they will release the PS3 this year, but who knows if the Revolution will be delayed also. Nintendo has a history of delaying console releases.

i dont think it really matters because the more ttime they have the more improvements they are going to make and its just gonna get better and more people will want it. either way i think they will sell more than xbox for sure and im pretty sure it will beat hte revolution too. if i was nintendo id hurry and get the system out while the hype is up to get more sales because if they release after sony i doubt theyll get as many customers

I have heard that the console is still 'buggy'

However, Sony has to be pushing the product in order to see the market with Blu-Ray players before HD-DVD takes over.

I think that Sony could be in trouble if they push it back too far, especially if the Revolution hits stores before the PS3 does.

im not really expecting a big hit with the revolution though, at least not one that wouldbe big enough to affect the ps3 sales too much
