Which do you think is the better handheld system, the PSP or the DS?
I would go with the DS, there aren't too many games I want for the PSP. |

Hehe, can I say both?
![]() I think the DS has better games, but the PSP is a far more sophisticated platform. |

The PSP can do more non-game related things (like web browsing I think) than the DS can, but I think I'll go with the DS.

If only we were Japanese, they get all the cool add-ons like the Rez Vibrator(look it up :]) and the DS lite before us yanks. I would say that the PSP is superior technical device but the DS has the best third party support and has some really interesting games like Nintendogs and Trauma Center.

PSP without a doubt.
You watch a movie on the thing and it is so sharp that you forget you are watching a small screen. flabbybuns |

It's really difficult to compare the both of these. It's sort of like apples and oranges. Their sort of similar only because their fruit (handhelds) but are completely different things.
I own both a PSP and a DS. The PSP is for the more serious gamer who's looking for really good games with great graphics. It also helps that it's very versatile and has those extra added features... The DS is more for the creative minds and innovative types. It's got the touch screen and that allows for some really good interaction. Some of the best games I've ever played are for the DS and GBA (Wario Touch! and Wario Twister). It's really a matter of your budget, and what you're looking for. PSP Games? $40-$50.00 with a $250.00 unit. DS? $30-40.00 with a $125.00 unit. Once again. Apples and oranges. |

I have the DS, but if I could choose, I'd choose the PSP. More features and better games

The PSP is a seriously castrated system. Having to transcode every video, a lack of Vorbis support, and the fact that Sony Mem-Sticks only come in 2Gig sticks shows Sony's lack of foresight and knowledge of the consumer. It's also too wide to be truely "portable." Mine is currently gathering dust.

Did you here about the add on for the DS you can watch live telivision, listen to MP3 music, web browse I bet it will be easier on the DS then the PSP since you have the touch screen, you can download movies. So I would have to say the DS is the best system cause it almost has PSP graphics. Look at Metroid Prime Hunters.
