She's okay, but not a big draw for me, personally. I enjoyed Sin City. It was different and looked a LOT like Miller's art work, which made it even more enjoyable for me, having been a comic collector back when.

I miss when Angelina Jolie was a nobody with cute butchy hair in Hackers. Now she's big lips and tabloids. I hate when people become so famous that I can no longer believe them in roles - their real lives are too prevalent in my memories. Like, for example, I never liked Tom Cruise but whatever, I could see Risky Business and repress it. Now I see him in a trailer and think of all his crazy b.s. and can't pretend for the required two hours that he isn't Tom Cruise.

What character will she play? Will she be a character from one of the books already out or a character in an upcoming new series that has yet to be published?

To be honest, it doesn't make one bit of difference to me who is in the movie. If the producers want to shell out big money in an effort to create buzz then that's their business. There are plenty of examples of movies with big-name actors in them that suuuuuuuuucked. Personally, Sin City seems to be one of those movies that ought to do well simply on visuals and story line alone, but we'll see.

i just hope that they keep the main actors (the one's who are still alive in the story) and they don't mess up.
i loved sin city so much, i would cry if they mess up. |
