EW said that V for Vendetta had the 'Most Wanted Poster'. check out the poster below
![]() Now and again, a movie poster arises that puts its formulaic brethren to shame. This is that poster. What makes it so compelling? The colors? The fonts? Natalie Portman's bald head? Here to deconstruct it for us are V for Vendetta producer Joel Silver and the poster's art director, Ron Michaelson.
FULL OF BOLSHEVIK ''We were in London shooting, and I went to the Tate Modern's room full of incredible Bolshevik posters,'' says Silver of the bold pre-Soviet era design. ''I knew immediately that that was the feeling I wanted to capture.'' Radical Art ''I wanted people to feel as if the posters came directly from the movie, that they were actually in the movie,' says Silver. "I said, 'If we were actually going to mount a revolution here, what would the imagery look like?'" Skewed Views ''Everything's at an angle," says Michaelson. "And the type is arranged perpendicular to the main axis, a form that was used in Russian revolutionary posters." A Masked Man ''We had something unusual to deal with," says Silver of the main character. "Usually you see the faces of your movie's stars... You don't have to deal with that with something that looks like a puppet from Team America." In the Red ''The ability to reproduce full color was limited when these posters were originally done," says Michaelson, "so we chose that more limited, muted palette.'' the poster was an indicator to a wonderful film Moviebuff Lance |

I can see why. That is the most beautiful movie poster I've seen in ages. I'm sure it'll win best movie poster for 2006. I can't imagine another movie coming out with anything better then that.

Aside from the fact that the movie kicks a whole lot of ass, the poster is some of the coolest imagery that I've ever seen come out of the mainstream studios who usually slap together the old template of "Look how perky our lead actresses' breasts are" movie poster.

I agree, this is a great poster and i hear that the movie is even better. It isnt the same old plot and i think that it will be good especially because the guys from the matrix worked on it, not to mention NATALIE PORTMAN. Bald or not shes cute as hell.

I really like this poster. I saw it on eBay, put a bid in for $35.00 but lost. I really want this poster in my basement. It's such a beautiful poster. I agree that it's the most wanted poster...

Hmm to be honest, I dont really like the poster... Doesn't do the film justice because... the film in ScottMaximus terms... "Kicks a whole lot of a**".
I think it would be good if the character with the mask was sat in the middle of the poster, that would be pretty nice ![]() |

They have another poster with V by himself in the middle of the poster but it isnt good. Only those who have a true eye for art can appreciate this.
