Default XMEN The Last Stand in new anti-bullying campaign

Launching tomorrow on Monday 8th May in London with special guest Patrick Stewart is the UK’s most pioneering and innovative corporate social responsibility deal between 20th Century Fox and beatbullying, the UK Charity of the Year.

The Campaign – Take A Stand is all about standing up against bullying and discrimination and this campaign is targeted at the many hundreds of thousands of young people living in the fear of being involved in bullying.

The website : www.takeastand.org will be going live at 8am on Monday 8th May where anyone can take their stand publicly and stand up and support the millions of young people who suffer the indignity of being involved in bullying activities.

Beatbullying, the current Charity of the Year and Children’s Charity of the Year is the UK’s biggest standalone anti-bullying charity , and this new campaign is an extraordinary way of harnessing the power of the people in the fight against bullying and discrimination.

I dont get the correlation between this movie and bullying.
I can see how they want to help, but is Xmen the best role model?

Perhaps it's the best one they gots.

The movie seems to be about fighting againts discrimination and fear that was created which led people to hate the mutants.

In the trailer and father is trying to pressure his son to take this shot that will make him normal.

That's sort of an interesting idea. I like that they are using a cheesy big-budget movie to speak out against bullying. I don't know. It's a strangely adorable idea.

If they're talking about bullying, they should partner up with the production of "The Benchwarmers". Well, not really as big as X-Men III, but what the heck, it's bullying we're talking about, right? And that's just what The Benchwarmers is all about: Bullying!

Oh well.
