Halo movie - 2008

Halo the movie has apparently been pushed back to a 2008 release... no loss to me really but i know some people will be upset.
I cant see this movie being any good no matter how long they take

But Peter Jackson is directing it, so it cant be that bad.
The fact its taking longer than expected could be a good thing, perhaps they really are working to make this the first ever good game turned movie.

This sounds very good. Very exciting... I'll probaly forget about it in 2 years time, but i'll go to watch it for sure. I agree, it's a good thing that it's longer away it shows that they're putting more time into it.

Peter Jackson is executive producer. Hi is NOT directing... though he is known to jump into the role after becoming producer.

Del Toro was last looked at for the film

When it comes to it being bad... a script review claims that it is AWESOME... not bad. Kind of like Aliens.
