This sounds like a "heart warming" movie (pardon the pun)
It will be out this year some time, I am unsure of exact date.
It does have a big cast but the storyline sounds promising - its about baseball if you couldnt guess

Someone needs to give poor Napoleon Dynomite a different role. I feel bad for him, playing the same character endlessly but each time with very different hair.
