Chuck & Larry... your thoughts?

Here's an MTV clip and two TV spots from "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry." What do you guys think of this film? Do you think it will be funny? I'm sure there will be some activists groups from either the gay or health insurance side arguing on FOX News when this comes out.

But beyond all that, do you think it will be any good or be forgotten through all the other major movie hype (it comes out - no pun intended - July after Transformers and Potter)? And does it remind anyone of that episode of "Drawn Together" where Spanky Ham and Xandir did the same thing? Did I just admit to everyone I watch "Drawn Together?!?"

This movie will be so forgotten by the next week when Simpsons comes out and then followed up the following week by the Bourne Ultimatum (which looks really great). It may even take a backseat to the Film Adaptation of HAIRSPRAY. And who wouldn't want to Travolta in Drag! LOL

It might become a sleeper hit. I doubt it though, like the above user said, the Simpsons is on its tail which would make it difficult for any movie regardless of what it is. Adam Sandler is a bankable actor though. I hated Click but that movie still banked.

Yeah, not very interested in this. But it's Sandler and somehow people keep coming back for him. Only movie I ever really liked him in was Punch Drunk Love. Though I heard Click was surprisingly sentimental, which just confused me. Maybe someday I'll see it.

I like Sandler, but not all his films, I'll see this but as a rental.
