Phoenix Story: Good Way to Go?

OK...I know a lot of X-Men fans love the Phoenix saga and everything that goes with it. But was it really a good choice for the movies? I personally do not know if it will translate well at all. Are they going to have the huge, fiery bird looming over the top of Jean?

It will be interesting to see how they handle this altogether. I think they could have came up with a more original story.

Any other thoughts?

Phoenix story sounded like a great idea and we are stoked to see how it works out.

However, the entire SAGA would take a trilogy to cover... which I wouldn't mind.

The phoenix saga to me was the height of the entire x-men plot. Im really glad they decided to use it in the movie.
