X-Men 3: Blog Transfer 5: Erinjoy confirms Divided

After the whole 'Divided' fiasco a new user, Erinjoy, who has confirmed that she is legit, points out that some of his facts were close or true.

Just to let you all know, I told my boyfriend (stunt doubling on x3 right now but also one of the few who was able to read the entire script because of his position on the crew) about what divided said about the script...ends up he was pretty accurate. A few things have been changed, but for the most part, his comments were definitely from knowing personally and not just making stuff up.

Yes, my boyfriend has read the script but this was in July 2005 when they first started rehearsing. And you have every reason to be skeptical...no, normally a stunt double would not read the script...especially for a movie this big where the director has even hesitated telling the stunt coordinator the entire script. But the reason my boyfriend has is because he is part of a small committee (I think it's around 5 or 6 people) in which they decide many of the action sequences and film locations (which have included as of right now--Lynn Canyon, Victoria, Aggasiz, Burnaby (for Alcatrez/San Francisco gate bridge scene)

And no, you are right flabby...I am not a source. My boyfriend would be the source. I am not here to give away the movie either. I'm not even supposed to know this stuff anyway. But out of fun and the fact that I wanted to see if I could find out what the script was about, I searched around on the internet to prove my boyfriend wrong...that I could find out the script w/o him telling me first...ends up I surprised him when I told him what divided stated. BUT...remember that the script is being changed constantly...as of 2 days ago, they even decided to use wires for the characters instead of just freerunning type stunts on the ground. Simon (I think he's the 2nd unit director) said he wanted the characters to seem less human and more "out of this world" with their mutant abilities, so that's why they decided on using wires.

oh, and in regards to the beast costume...people might be a bit mixed up with so many crazy ideas flying around out there...it is blue and yellow like the old suit because beast has been gone for a while and hasn't been in action for a long time.

Oh, one other random thing I wanted to add...I met Hugh Jackman and his wife a couple weeks ago at his brother-in-law's 40th birthday. He has the cutest 2 month old daughter! Hugh Jackman seems like a great guy. He has 2 stunt doubles (his brother in law and another guy--I forget his name) He's apparantly always lifting weights right before he shoots...guess he wants to look "pumped up" or whatever
