It turns out that this report was circulated by a guy that goes by 'Kanon,' and has now been deemed false (though there are still some that claim they had heard the same details long before the 'Kanon' post).
It turns out that there are some who get really bored and post lies onto public blogs to cheer themselves up. We don't get it either, but there you have it. flabbybuns |

I have not seen the movie yet, but I do hope Wolverine is not really dead. I like Wolverine and the reason I watch X-Men so often is I like when he fights.
Gotto see this one before it is too late. |

They can't kill off Wolverine! Wolvie rocks! He's been one of my favourite comic characters for over 20 years (hence my 20 yr old son named Logan. Heh).

I think the only person who can kill wolverine is Rogue. Not even Magneto can kill him but can only hurt him. With his fast healing rate, how could he possibly die? With Rogues ability, she could get all the healing power of Wolverine and that I think will only be the way to kill Wolverine.

well, Jackman's signed up for movies so it may be a way to try and ease him out of the XMen franchise.. but I never believe anything until the movie's released!
