Default Oblivion

Easily the best console based RPG I have ever played. The only problem is that it's hard to sit there and play for only an hour or so. You need to be able to dedicate some serious time to this game. I find myself having to take Call of Duty breaks just to keep my sanity.

Its a huge game isnt it?
I started it but unfortunately have not had time to really get into it.

How long do you think it would take to finish, 100+ hours?

I'm guessing 100 hours or so. I've played for awhile, but I haven't gotten far into the main quest. The side quests are just as fun. This is the closest thing to an infinite console game as I've every seen.

My kids have easily put in over 100 hours each. I don't think that game will ever end. It is visually impressive, though.

I can't imagine how long the game is if you do all of the side quests. I've probably spent close to 50 hours on the game and I've barely scratched the surface of the main quest.

Oblivion gates are popping up everywhere, so I guess I'd better go ahead and save the world, but, you know, I'm studying at the Arcane University, I'm practicing my theiving skills, I've got to keep the crowds entertained at the arena...sigh... being a handsome and skilled dark elf that has a date with destiny is so overwhelming....

See, thanks to this damn game, I have no life....

You're looking at the cup as half-empty. Of course you have a life. It's digitized in glorious hi-def and you're greater than you might otherwise be in the mundane world.
