360 or wait?

Do you think it is worth it to get an Xbox 360 at the moment? I do not really see any must have games, but do you think one should wait for Sony and Nintendo's consoles and see what they have to offer?

Depending on how a given month goes... in terms of income...

the best option is to always buy both... Xbox 360 and PS3.

I do not tend to buy ALL the systems of one generation, I would usually choose between 2 out of the 3 of them. Buying all of them is too costly for me, plus that would mean more games I need to buy.

If you can't see any games you want, wait for now. I agree with the person who said get them all - they look like they'll be very different platforms.

If you hold off a while then you might be able to get one cheaper.

Nothing really stands out for me right now, so I'll wait on the 360. Although Oblivion looks great, I'll be getting it for the PC instead.

Wise move - mods were a big part of Morrowinds success on the PC, and the chances are it will be the same for Oblivion - so you get a better deal than the console users

i got 360 , i play maybe ... maybe once a week .. personaly i thnk the system is overrated and not worth it i think.

Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter is the newest gold app for the 360. I prefer an HTPC for a Media Extender/Server though. I hear the interface is real friggin slick.

This thread is old, so maybe the question has been answered but...after seeing what I saw at E3, I say go for the 360. The PS3 didn't look terribly impressive to me. I am something of a nintendo fanboy, and if the Wii (still getting used to that name) is as cheap as some say, I'll probably get that one as well.
