As some of you may have guessed from a previous
article, we are pretty excited about Trey Parker and Matt Stone's latest
film to hit the screens, Team America: World Police. For
all who enjoy the political humor to Southpark should love this
film.
New Trailer for Team America
Again, the new trailer looks damn good and damn
funny. For those of you who watch Southpark on a somewhat religious
basis, you will notice some of the voices used behind the characters. Another
great aspect is the mix of poor special effects with great special effects
[just as seen in some Southpark episodes].
Besides a new trailer, the Team America site has just updated to
include clips with interviews of the Southpark duo and more. The
site also offers a great abstract of the film that includes:
To infiltrate the terrorist network, Team America recruits Gary Johnston, a rising star on Broadway,
to go undercover. Although initially reluctant to sacrifice his promising career, Gary realizes that his
acting gift is needed for a higher cause.
All in all, we have the highest expectations behind a film sporting Bush,
Moore, Laden, Kerry and more in small wooden dolls.
