The war footage looks sweet. With similar cinematography that was applied
to Amelie, only good things can happen.
Jean-Pierre Jeunet has a new movie coming out that
looks stylishly cool with the elements of love and war thrown into one.
For those of you who do not recognize Jean-Pierre Jeunet, this is the director
that created the sensational Amelie. Like Amelie, A Very Long Engagement
seems to have some really cool cinematography.
A Very Long Engagement Online Now
A Very Long Engagement features Audrey Tautou, the same girl that starred
as Amelie. The story is about a boy and a girl who ever since they were
young, knew they were going to be married. However, I bump comes up in their
paths when World War breaks out and Manech [Gaspard Ulliel] must go to the
front lines. Manech soon disappears and leaves Mathilde [Audrey Tautou]
with only the hope that her lover is still alive.
