Macaulay Culkin Gets Busted!

Culkin gets in trouble for possession of illegal substance. A charge that
should be a small smack on the wrist.
What kind of world do we live in when the Home
Alone kid gets busted for possession of marijuana? Well, this seems
to be the case with Macaulay Culkin who, after being pulled over [as a passenger]
at a traffic stop, was discovered to be in possession of marijuana and the
anti-anxiety medication Xanax.
Culkin's Trouble Not that Big of Deal
First off, even though other news coverage seems
to scorn at the idea of being in possession of marijuana, we do not think
it is that big of deal. Most people [with money] who indulge in drugs usually
go for some of the harder stuff such as cocaine plus. Culkin was found carrying
approximately a half an ounce of marijuana along with un-prescribed Xanax.
Marijuana, which is as close as it can get to become legal [while still
remaining illegal] in other countries such as Canada, is rarely found to
be the culprit among people getting harmed from others drug use. So, again,
we say not that big of deal that Culkin does something a lot of other people
do.
However, it is still illegal and Culkin could, at minimum, be threatened
with some prison time. Culkin has been released on September 17th with $4,000
bail after a stay of approximately two hours in jail.
