After seeing Seann William Scott in The Rundown,
I knew the guy could go on to other comedic, or action, films without being
too hindered by his American Pie cast type casting [even though
he will always have Stiffler elements to his style]. The latest news on
Seann William Scott is that he will be starring in, along side Johnny Knoxville,
The Dukes of Hazzard movie.

This is actually big news for the film that first considered Paul Walker
and Ashton Kutcher for the Duke brothers. So far, the film at least has
quite the cast ensemble for shooting. Among the cast is Seann William Scott
as Bo Duke, Johnny Knoxville as Luke Duke, Jessica Simpson as Daisy Duke,
Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg, and Willie Nelson as Uncle Jesse.
Besides the cast, the film also has Jay Chandrasekhar behind the camera.
Remember that small indi-film called Super Troopers? Well, this
is the same guy behind the Broken Lizard classic. Now, I know Club Dread
was not all that hot, so maybe this guy is due.
Considering that the film is still in production, there is relatively little
news about The Dukes of Hazzard as of yet. Come back for updates.
