Get ready to battle it out on some of your favorite LOTR battlegrounds.
Here are two updates for the computer gaming community.
First, if you are not from this planet you may not know that Half-Life
2 will be hitting shelves November 16; a game that has taken just about
half a decade to make. Second, another anticipated game, The Lord of
the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth, has just released some new footage
worth viewing.
Half-Life 2- The Story Behind the Game
I'll say it again, Half-Life 2 is hitting shelves this November
16th. Most PC gamers have been waiting years to hear news such as this.
Only one more day to go, so now what can you do to help the wait? Well,
the good people at GameSpot have a very impressive, and very long, article
all about the game and the people behind its creation. It discusses missed
deadlines and the hacker who stole HL2 code only to share to the public
that Sierra has not been completely honest with gamers.
An interesting read that can be checked out over at GameSpot
New Footage for The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth
EA Games has recently posted two more video featurettes that are enough
to at least wet your appetite for what looks to be the greatest RTS since
sliced bread [does that work?]. Anywho, the game is due out on December
6th and is mentioned in our Holiday Gift Guide for
Gamers.
