Kevin Spacey in Singer's Upcoming Film Superman
While it is not official, it has been confirmed by the good people over
at IESB.NET that
Kevin Spacey has admitted to being 'approached' by Singer on playing the
part of Lex Luthor. Just to throw my thoughts in: Spacey would be perfect
for Luthor, as would Hackman [too wrinkly now?].
If you remember, Singer and Spacey have worked together before on one of
Singer's earliest hits, The Usual Suspects. Spacey played the mysterious,
gimpy, man named Roger 'Verbal' Kint. Lets just hope Spacey doesn't get
carried away and shout "Keyser Soze!" during filming. That is,
if he agrees to be a part of filming. Sorry, got ahead of myself. But why
would he want to turn it down? A great, and should I say proven, director,
a legendary film series to boot, and a legendary comic series. How can it
miss! [knock on wood]
Anyway, I really hope Spacey bites the bullet and takes the role. Stay tuned
