Snipes is back as Blade.
When the first Blade film came out, I wasn't at all interested. I later caught a scene from the film as I passed in front of a television. The scene was where the Blade film ran out of funding and had some silly death scene [clay bubbles] for the end of the film. Then came the sequel, Blade II. Looking at the trailers, the film looked to have a much cooler feel to it. Still, I did not catch the film in the theatres. Of my friends that saw it, they claimed it was great as it was almost entirely entertaining action and nothing else; which didn't sell me all that much. I later watched the sequel on DVD and found that I heavily enjoyed it, from start to finish. I could not ask for a more entertaining film. Now, I could only hope that Blade III: Trinity, would continue this progression for me. WRONG!

Early Reports Say Blade: Trinity Sucks

The good people at Aintitcool ran a collection of reviews from various viewers; NOT actual critics. All reports claim that the movie was either bad, or close to it. Eesh, here are some snippets:

If you thought David Goyer had saved the best for last, let me tell you brother - You were wrong. Dead. ****ing. Wrong.

Easily the worst of all three Blade films, this film borders on being Punisher level bad.

Can you tell I'm a little disappointed? It had its moments--most of which involved Blade--but I just can't recommend it.

For starters, the movie was okay. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great. I do, however, think that its worth seeing. There were a lot of things I liked about the movie. For starters, the comic aspect was a refreshing addition to the series. Ryan Reynolds was awesome, and had a lot of really funny scenes.

Ryan Reynolds has been getting a lot of positive marks for his role in this film. This is good for Reynolds, but draws more attention that maybe the film couldn't offer anything else.

For all of the reviews, head over to Aintitcool.

I still plan to see this film and offer my own report.
